About Me

Hello and welcome to Healthy Betta! I took over as adminstrator here at HB a few years ago. It has been an interesting and exciting journey...and a lot of learning has taken place along the way. While the forum was loads of fun it came time during the summer of 2006 to close it. The forum has a wealth of knowledge still to this day, so if you have a question you can't find the answer to on the main HB site, take a peek and use the search feature to find lots of great info. We also no longer have weekly chats, but the chat room is open to all to pop into at any time to see if others are around. I still have a love of bettas and fishkeeping, but for now we're going to keep the website on more of a reference note.

Although I started fishkeeping with bettas, these days you'll also find me with other tropical fish, such as harlequin rasboras, cories, and dwarf gouramis. Ghost shrimp are still one of my favorites too. I'm also a bit of a live plant fanatic and find great joy in keeping a planted tank.
